Milton & Tamarside

Milton & Tamarside ward occupies the southernmost tip of the Torridge district, defined by the confluence of the rivers Tamar and Tavy as they widen into the Hamoaze estuary. This creates a distinct, elongated peninsula landscape. The area is primarily rural, with scattered settlements like Bere Ferrers and Bere Alston set amidst rolling farmland and woodland that slopes down to the extensive tidal waterways.
