All Saints & Wayland

All Saints & Wayland is a predominantly rural ward in the Breckland district of Norfolk. The area encompasses a collection of villages and hamlets set within open farmland and heathland. Settlements like Attleborough and Great Hockham form the main population centres, surrounded by smaller communities. The landscape is characterised by agricultural fields, patches of woodland, and the distinctive sandy soils of the Brecks region.

The ward's economy has strong links to agriculture and light industry. A notable local feature is the substantial Attleborough Tesco distribution centre, which is a major employer. The area is crossed by the historic Roman road known as the Peddars Way, which now forms part of a long-distance trail. Community life is focused around the individual villages, each with its own parish council and local facilities.
