About

Anfield North is a residential district situated directly north of Liverpool city centre. The area is dominated by tightly packed terraced housing, built to accommodate industrial workers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its streets form a grid-like pattern leading towards the significant open space of Stanley Park, which provides a green corridor between the neighbourhoods of Anfield and Everton.

The area is globally recognised as the home of Liverpool Football Club, with Anfield stadium serving as its immediate southern boundary. The stadium's presence shapes much of the local activity on matchdays, transforming the quiet streets. The district also contains the Anfield Cemetery, a large Victorian burial ground that offers views across the city.
