Bellingham & Perry Hill

Bellingham sits in the London Borough of Lewisham, just south of Catford. The neighbourhood is largely residential and grew around the interwar London County Council Bellingham Estate, laid out in the 1920s to provide houses with private gardens. Bellingham station on the Catford Loop Line gives regular rail links into south‑east London and central routes. Local shopping parades and community facilities serve short daily trips, while small public greens and allotments are scattered through the estate, reflecting the original garden suburb layout.

Perry Hill occupies higher ground within Lewisham and is marked by streets that climb away from the valley, where Victorian and early 20th‑century houses sit alongside later infill.
