Blythe Bridge, Forsbrook & Caverswall

Blythe Bridge, Forsbrook and Caverswall lie within the Staffordshire Moorlands district in central Staffordshire. The three settlements form a short chain along lanes and minor roads, with Blythe Bridge nearest the mainline railway and a stone crossing of the River Blithe that gives the village its name. Blythe Bridge railway station provides local rail services toward Stoke-on-Trent and Derby. Forsbrook sits immediately west of Blythe Bridge and is linked by the parish council and shared amenities: primary schools, small shops, a post office and community halls.

Caverswall occupies higher ground to the south and is centred on a castellated country house known locally as Caverswall Castle and a parish church. The pattern of fields, hedgerows and narrow lanes reflects long-established farming, and a network of public footpaths connects the villages to nearby woods and streams.
