Burton Stapenhill

Burton Stapenhill is a residential district situated on the eastern bank of the River Trent, directly opposite the town centre of Burton upon Trent. It functions primarily as a commuter area for the larger town, with several parks and green spaces providing recreational space for residents.

The neighbourhood is connected to Burton town centre by the Stapenhill Ferry, a pedestrian cable ferry that has operated across the river for over a century. This service offers a direct link to the shopping and commercial heart of the town. The area also contains the expansive Stapenhill Gardens, which feature formal floral displays, a children's play area, and provide views back across the river towards the brewing heritage of the town centre.
