Chinnor ward encompasses the village of Chinnor and its surrounding rural area in the Chiltern Hills. The settlement is linear, following the B4009 road along the foot of the escarpment. Land use is mixed, with residential streets, a central conservation area, and significant areas of farmland. The landscape is defined by the chalk hills, with the Ridgeway national trail passing along the top of the escarpment above the village.
