Clapham Park East and Streatham Hill North lie in the southern part of the London Borough of Lambeth. Clapham Park East is dominated by the Clapham Park estate, a large planned housing area rebuilt in the mid-20th century and later subject to phased renewal. Streatham Hill North follows the line of the A23 and is anchored by Streatham Hill railway station, which provides frequent services into central London. The main road through the area rises south from the station and carries most of the bus routes and retail parades serving local daily needs.
