Crystal Palace & Anerley

Crystal Palace & Anerley is a residential ward situated on the southern border of the London Borough of Bromley. The area is defined by its elevated position on the Norwood Ridge, offering long views across the city. It is primarily composed of Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, with local commerce concentrated along the Anerley Road and Westow Street corridors. The ward takes its name from the historic Crystal Palace, which stood just outside its current boundary in neighbouring Croydon. The large parkland of Crystal Palace Park forms a significant part of the area, containing the National Sports Centre and the famous Victorian-era dinosaur sculptures.
