Dorridge

Dorridge sits in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, in the West Midlands, roughly nine miles southeast of Birmingham city centre. The village centre is built around a small triangular green, with Station Road and the railway station framing one side and a short parade of shops on the other. The station provides regular commuter services into Birmingham and onward to towns in Warwickshire, so daily travel patterns shape much of local life. Housing ranges from Victorian terraces to 20th-century detached homes, and tree-lined residential streets extend outward from the centre toward neighboring Knowle and Bentley Heath.
