The three parishes sit in the Harborough district of south Leicestershire, a short drive south-west of Leicester and north of Lutterworth. The A426 runs through the area and the M1 lies to the west, providing road links. Land is largely arable fields, hedgerows and small woodlands, with houses clustered around village greens, churchyards and pubs. Claybrooke Magna and Claybrooke Parva take their name from the small brook that runs between them; the brook remains a visible feature in lanes and fields.
