Hadley & Leegomery

Hadley & Leegomery is a residential ward in the eastern part of Telford. The area is characterised by a mix of post-war housing estates and more recent developments, with local shopping parades serving the community. It contains significant green corridors, including the margins of the River Tern which runs along its northern edge. The ward is primarily a settled suburban area with a focus on local amenities and schools.

A central feature is the large, open parkland of Anstice Memorial Ground, which provides recreational space. The ward includes the distinct neighbourhood of Leegomery, centred around its own high street. Transport links are defined by the A442 Eastern Primary, a major dual carriageway that forms a boundary. The area's layout reflects its development as part of the broader Telford new town expansion from the mid-20th century onwards.
