Halesowen North

Halesowen North ward lies on the western edge of the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, bordering the Shropshire Union Canal and the open spaces of the Leasowes. The area is primarily residential, characterised by a mix of interwar and post-war housing estates. The landscape is shaped by several small hills and the valley of the River Stour, which flows through its southern part.

A notable local feature is the Leasowes Park, an 18th-century landscape garden designed by the poet William Shenstone. The ward contains several local schools and shopping parades serving the community. Industrial heritage is present in former sites along the canal, though the area is now predominantly quiet and suburban in character.
