Heighington & Washingborough

Heighington & Washingborough ward lies directly south of Lincoln, primarily comprising the two large villages of Heighington and Washingborough. The area is bordered by the River Witham to the west and agricultural land to the east, placing it within a distinctly rural setting despite its proximity to the city. Residential development is focused around the historic cores of each settlement, with newer housing extending into the surrounding fields.
