Kettering East

Kettering East sits immediately east of Kettering town centre in North Northamptonshire. It is largely a residential area formed from planned housing growth east of the town and includes a local centre with shops, a primary school allocation and community facilities. Streets link back to the town centre and to nearby business parks. Pockets of public open space break the housing, and some streets run down to the edge of the A14 corridor, which defines the northern boundary of the wider eastward expansion.
Travel from Kettering East uses local roads to the town and the A14 for longer journeys; Kettering station on the Midland Main Line is a short drive. Bus services run toward the town centre and adjacent suburbs. Day-to-day services for residents include GP practices and convenience stores in and around the local centre, while larger shops and leisure facilities are in central Kettering. Planning documents for the area have set aside land for a new school and community hub to serve future households.
