Kineton, Tysoe & Warmington

Kineton, Tysoe, and Warmington form a rural area in southern Warwickshire, characterised by rolling farmland and the Edgehill escarpment. The settlements are connected by narrow lanes, with Kineton serving as the largest village with local amenities. The landscape is defined by arable fields and pasture, with views extending across the Vale of the Red Horse. The area's history is marked by the 1642 Battle of Edgehill, with the battlefield site lying to the east. The villages contain historic stone buildings, including the notable church in Tysoe. A large, ancient hill figure, the Red Horse, was historically cut into the land near Tysoe, giving the vale its name.
