Knebworth, Codicote & Kimpton

Knebworth, Codicote and Kimpton lie in North Hertfordshire around Knebworth Park and surrounding farmland. Knebworth House sits at the centre of the area; its park has hosted large open-air rock concerts since the 1970s and opens parts of the estate for public events. Knebworth railway station is on the East Coast Main Line, providing direct services to London and destinations to the north, and small lanes connect the three villages to a patchwork of arable fields and hedgerows.

Codicote retains a village green and pond with traditional shops, pubs and a compact High Street that serves surrounding hamlets. Kimpton is more agricultural, with farm tracks and a network of public footpaths that lead onto chalk slopes and across meadows.
