Laverstock, Bodenham & Coombe Bissett

The area sits where chalk downland meets river valley. Laverstock occupies the Bourne valley, with the River Bourne running across the parish and feeding low-lying meadows. Coombe Bissett lies on the upper reaches of the River Ebble, a spring-fed chalk stream that cuts a narrow course through the village and supports a sequence of shallow pools and reedy margins.
