Letchworth South East

Letchworth South East ward covers the residential neighbourhoods on the south-eastern side of the Garden City. The area is characterised by a mix of housing types, including interwar semis-detached homes and later developments. Its streets are arranged along the original Garden City principles, featuring tree-lined avenues and communal green spaces. The ward includes the area around the Grange estate, with local amenities centred on the Pixmore shops and the Grange Community Centre.

The ward is bordered by the East Coast Main Line railway to the east and the B656 Baldock Road to the south. A significant local feature is the Pix Brook, a small watercourse that runs through the area, with a public footpath following its course. The landscape includes the Pixmore playing fields and the grounds of the Highfield School, providing recreational space. Transport links are provided by local bus routes connecting to Letchworth town centre and the railway station.
