North Middleton & Stakehill

North Middleton sits on the northern edge of Middleton within the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale. The area is mainly residential, with terraced and semi‑detached housing, primary schools, a community centre and a strip of local shops along the main road. Small greens and play areas are scattered through the streets and regular bus services connect the neighbourhood with Middleton town centre and other parts of the borough. Local programmes run from the community centre and several volunteers’ groups maintain pocket parks and allotments used by residents.

Immediately north, Stakehill is an industrial and commercial estate occupying a substantial area and hosting warehouses, light manufacturing units and logistics firms.
