Pershore

Pershore ward covers the historic market town of Pershore and its surrounding rural parishes. The area is centred on the River Avon, which flows through the town and its water meadows. Agricultural land and orchards characterise the outskirts, supporting local fruit farming and horticulture. The settlement pattern includes several smaller villages and hamlets set within this predominantly agricultural landscape.

The town itself is focused around Broad Street and the Abbey precincts. Pershore Abbey, a significant medieval church with Norman architecture, dominates the town centre. The area includes the Victorian-era Pershore Bridge crossing the Avon and the public gardens known as the Abbey Park. Regular markets and trading activity continue at the traditional town centre location.
