Pucklechurch & Westerleigh

Pucklechurch and Westerleigh lie in South Gloucestershire where village streets meet farmland and the southern edge of the Cotswold scarp. Pucklechurch is centred on a long parish street with a mix of houses, a village hall, a primary school and local shops. The parish church of St Thomas à Becket stands near the green and retains a Norman doorway and 12th‑century stonework that speak to the long settlement history. Public footpaths run out from the villages onto fields and lanes used by walkers and riders.

Westerleigh sits on higher ground to the north of Pucklechurch and has a history tied to local industry and to the rail network. Westerleigh Junction, just south of the village, is a marked point on the lines that cross the area and is visible from nearby lanes.
