Reigate Central & Redhill Common

Reigate Central sits around the town High Street and the lanes that run off it, with the medieval castle gatehouse and Priory Park as local reference points. The Priory building houses a small museum and the park opens onto lawns and formal gardens. The centre mixes retail, eateries and civic buildings around short streets and pedestrian links. Beneath parts of the town are the chalk tunnels known locally as the Reigate Caves, a visible reminder of the area’s quarrying past and something you notice when walking near the castle mound and older streets.
