Ridge

The Ridge ward covers a primarily rural expanse in the western part of North Lincolnshire, characterised by agricultural land and a series of small, dispersed villages such as Kirton in Lindsey, Scotter, and Scotton. The landscape is largely flat, typical of the Lincolnshire countryside, with fields demarcated by hedgerows and drainage channels. The area's economy has long been connected to farming.

A notable landmark is the former RAF Kirton in Lindsey airfield, which has a history dating back to the First World War and now serves various civilian purposes. The ward includes parts of the Trent Valley, with the River Eau flowing through it. Community life is centred on the individual village hubs, each with its own local facilities and historical parish churches.
