About

Rodwell & Wyke is a coastal ward on the southern edge of Weymouth. Its shoreline includes the sheltered waters of Portland Harbour and the pebble beach of Chesil Cove. The area is dominated by the steep, wooded slopes of Wyke Regis, which rise above the residential streets below. The ward is connected to the Isle of Portland via the A354 road across the causeway at Ferrybridge.

A notable local landmark is the red-and-white striped lighthouse at Portland Bill, visible from parts of the ward.
