Saddleworth West & Lees

Saddleworth West & Lees covers the western edge of the Oldham borough, characterised by its transition from Pennine foothills to more urban settlement. The area includes the distinct communities of Lees and Springhead, alongside the western outskirts of Saddleworth parish. Its landscape features steep, green valleys and moorland edges, with the River Medlock flowing through parts of the ward.

A notable local landmark is the Saddleworth Viaduct, carrying the railway across the Diggle Valley. The ward contains a mix of residential housing, local commerce, and former mill sites, with the Huddersfield Narrow Canal threading through the lower ground.
