Sherston & Hullavington

Sherston and Hullavington sit on the chalk and clay of north Wiltshire, a patchwork of arable fields, hedgerows and small woodlands. Sherston is organised around a large village green that hosts village events and frames a sequence of stone cottages and a parish church. The former RAF Hullavington airfield is within the parish and remains a conspicuous feature on maps and when moving across fields, its runways and hangars visible from local lanes. Agriculture, small businesses and community activities shape daily life, and the area’s scale makes walking between villages and through farmland a common part of local routines.
