St Mary's

St Mary's ward covers the northern part of Canvey Island, characterised by residential streets and local commercial hubs along its main roads. A significant network of seawalls and flood defences surrounds the ward, a direct response to the island's history. Large areas of open grassland, such as the Canvey Heights park, are built upon former landfill sites, now offering elevated views across the marshes.
