Stansted North

Stansted North ward covers the northern portion of the settlement of Stansted Mountfitchet. The area is primarily residential, featuring a mix of housing developments and older properties. It is bordered by rural land and contains the grounds of Stansted Airport, a major local employer. The ward includes the neighbourhoods of Bentfield Green and part of the village of Takeley, integrating these communities within its boundaries.

The landscape is characterised by pockets of woodland and open fields, with the M11 motorway running along its western edge. Local infrastructure includes several primary schools and community facilities serving the resident population. The presence of the airport significantly influences the local economy and transport links, with many roads oriented around access to the terminal and related business parks.
