Sutton Four Oaks

The Sutton Four Oaks ward lies in the northeastern corner of Birmingham, bordering Sutton Coldfield town centre to the southwest. It is a predominantly residential area characterised by spacious housing, extensive greenery, and numerous private roads. The ward encompasses large properties set within generous plots, alongside more modern developments. Its layout is defined by quiet, tree-lined avenues and several conservation areas that preserve its established character. The local road network connects directly to major routes like the A38 and A453.

A central feature of the landscape is the Four Oaks Estate, with its network of ornamental lakes and mature woodland. The area is served by local shopping parades providing essential retail and services. Sutton Park, one of Europe's largest urban parks, forms a significant part of the ward's western boundary, offering heathland, wetlands, and ancient woodland. The ward is also home to the Four Oaks Methodist Church, a prominent local landmark with its distinctive stone architecture and tall spire visible from surrounding roads.
