Swinley Forest

Swinley Forest ward encompasses a significant portion of Bracknell Forest itself, dominated by the extensive woodland of Swinley Forest and Crown Estate land. The area is characterised by its residential neighbourhoods, which are often situated within or adjacent to these large tracts of pine woodland. Housing includes a mix of detached and semi-detached properties, with development carefully integrated into the forested landscape.

The ward is defined by its natural environment, with numerous footpaths and trails crisscrossing the forest for walking, cycling, and horse riding. A notable feature within the woodland is the presence of the historic Caesar's Camp, an Iron Age hillfort earthwork. The area also contains the Look Out Discovery Centre, a family attraction focused on the local environment and science, further emphasising the ward's strong connection to its woodland setting.
