Tattenham North

Tattenham North is a ward in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey, made up largely of residential streets and small commercial parades. The area is served by its own station, the terminus of the Tattenham Corner branch of the Southern network, which provides direct commuter services into central London. Housing ranges from interwar terraces to postwar semi‑detached homes, and there are a number of primary schools and local shops clustered along the main roads. Street trees and front gardens are a common feature of the neighbourhood fabric.

The ward sits against the northern slopes of the North Downs, giving easy access to chalk ridge footpaths and pockets of green space at the borough edge. Community life centres on recreation grounds, small sports clubs and local halls used for groups and events. Local planning and transport ties keep the area oriented toward daily travel to nearby centres while retaining links to the Downs for weekend walking and informal outdoor activities.
