Winnersh

Winnersh ward lies in the northeast of the Wokingham borough, bordering the larger town of Reading. The area is primarily residential, featuring a mix of housing developments from different eras, alongside several business parks that provide local employment. Its infrastructure is defined by key transport routes, including the M4 motorway and the Reading to Waterloo railway line, which offer direct connections to London and other major centres.

The ward contains the distinct neighbourhoods of Winnersh and Winnersh Triangle, the latter named for the major business and retail park situated near the railway station. A notable local feature is the River Loddon, which flows through the western part of the area, with sections of its floodplain remaining as open green space. The community is served by local schools, shops, and leisure facilities centred around the older parts of the village.
