Woodstock

Woodstock ward sits in the inner south of Belfast, centred on the Donegall Road. The area is primarily residential, with a mix of Victorian terraced housing and more modern apartment developments. It is directly adjacent to the expansive grounds of Belfast City Hospital, which dominates a significant portion of the local landscape. The ward also contains several smaller commercial streets providing essential local services for residents.

The area is notable for the presence of the Park Centre, a longstanding local retail hub. A key feature is the thoroughfare of the Donegall Road itself, a major arterial route connecting the city centre to neighbourhoods further south. The ward includes the residential streets around Walmer Street and Aspen Park. It is also home to the City Cemetery, one of Belfast's principal historic burial grounds, offering green space and a record of the city's past.
