Alfold, Dunsfold & Hascombe

Alfold, Dunsfold & Hascombe ward encompasses a large, predominantly rural area in the southeast of Waverley. It contains the villages of Alfold, Dunsfold, and Hascombe, along with significant areas of farmland and woodland. The landscape is characterised by the rolling greensand hills of the Surrey Weald, with scattered historic farmsteads and narrow, winding lanes connecting the settlements. The ward's boundaries extend to the county border with West Sussex near Alfold.

The area includes Dunsfold Aerodrome, a former Royal Air Force base with a long aviation history. Hascombe is noted for its wooded hilltop crowned by a historic church. A network of public footpaths crosses the agricultural land and commons, such as Hascombe Hill, providing access to the countryside. The villages maintain distinct identities with local community hubs, including village halls, shops, and public houses serving the resident population.
