Allerton

Allerton is an area within the City of Bradford metropolitan district in West Yorkshire, set northwest of Bradford city centre and close to Keighley. The neighbourhood is largely residential, with a mix of stone-built houses and small rows of former mill cottages. Fields and drystone walls step up from the settlement toward the lower slopes of the Pennines, and public footpaths leave the lanes and climb into open moorland, offering views across the Worth Valley toward Keighley.
