Alsager

Alsager ward covers the town of Alsager and its surrounding rural edges, situated in the northeast of Cheshire East near the Staffordshire border. The area is primarily residential, with established neighbourhoods and local shopping parades centred on the high street. It includes the grounds of Alsager School and the town's leisure centre, alongside some light industrial estates to the south. The landscape transitions to open farmland and the fields of Radway Green towards its boundaries.

The ward is notable for its strong community facilities, including the public library and Alsager Civic. A specific local feature is the presence of the former Alsager College of Education campus, now part of Manchester Metropolitan University, which contributes to the town's character. Transport links are provided by the Alsager railway station on the Crewe to Manchester line. The Trent and Mersey Canal also runs along the western edge of the ward, bordering the neighbouring parish.
