Anfield West

Anfield West sits to the west of Anfield Stadium and is formed mainly of terraced streets and stretches of post-war housing. Anfield Road runs beside the ground and acts as a local spine, with shops, takeaways and small businesses lining the main thoroughfares. From several streets the Kop and the Shankly Gates are visible behind terraces, and matchdays change the rhythm of the area as fans and temporary stalls arrive for fixtures.
