Ansdell & Fairhaven

Ansdell & Fairhaven sits along the Fylde coastline, bounded by the Ribble Estuary to the south and Lytham to the north. The area is primarily residential, with streets of Victorian and Edwardian houses. Its main feature is Fairhaven Lake, a large inland lake with sailing and walking paths, which separates the housing from the extensive salt marshes and the sandy beach of the Ribble Estuary.

The ward contains a local shopping parade on Woodlands Road and several sports clubs, including a cricket and bowling green. The flat landscape is defined by the coastal plain, with the Grade II listed Ansdell Institute Hall serving as a community centre. The RNLI Lytham Lifeboat Station is situated on the estuary front, reflecting the area's maritime connection.
