Beeston Rylands

Beeston Rylands lies along the River Trent in the southern part of Broxtowe. The area is characterised by residential streets and significant green spaces, including Rylands Recreation Ground. Historically, its development was closely tied to the Boots pharmaceutical company, which constructed many of the original houses for its workforce in the early 20th century. This gives the housing stock a distinct, planned character.

The ward is bordered by the river and the Nottingham Canal, which shape its boundaries and provide linear routes for walking and cycling.
