The Benson & Crowmarsh ward is a primarily rural area in South Oxfordshire, encompassing the villages of Benson, Crowmarsh Gifford, and the hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh. It is situated along the River Thames, with the town of Wallingford located directly across the river. The landscape is characterised by farmland and the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the east. The ward contains sections of the ancient Icknield Way and Ridgeway long-distance paths.
