Bilston South

Bilston South ward sits in the eastern part of Wolverhampton, centred around the historic market town of Bilston itself. The area is primarily residential, characterised by a mix of Victorian terraced housing and more modern post-war estates. Its main commercial focus runs along Bilston High Street, which serves as a local shopping and service hub for the community. The ward is bordered by the Birmingham New Road to the south and contains several industrial estates, reflecting its manufacturing heritage.

The ward includes the large Bradley Playing Fields, providing significant green space for recreation and sports. Local landmarks include the red-brick Bilston Town Hall and the modern Bilston Market, which has operated on the same site for centuries.
