Blackheath, Wonersh & Shamley Green

Blackheath is a small village set within a large area of common land, characterised by heath, woodland, and ponds. It forms part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a network of walking and riding trails directly from its edges. The settlement itself is linear, with properties spread along winding lanes that blend into the surrounding landscape.

To the south, Wonersh is a larger village with a historic core centred around St John the Baptist Church and the Wonersh Village Stores. Shamley Green, nearby, features a notable triangular village green, a cricket pitch, and traditional brick and tile-hung buildings. The area is defined by its rural setting, with agriculture and woodland management remaining visible parts of the local character.
