About

Bobblestock is a residential ward located directly north of Hereford city centre, positioned between the River Wye to the west and the A49 road to the east. Its streets are primarily composed of Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, with some later infill developments. The area functions mainly as a quiet, settled neighbourhood for the city, with local shopping concentrated along Commercial Road.

A defining characteristic is the presence of the historic Bobblestock Spring, a natural water source from which the area takes its name. The ward contains several green spaces, including Broomy Hill and parts of the riverbank walk. It is also home to Hereford's main campus for the Royal National College for the Blind, an institution with a significant national profile.
