Bray Wick & Holyport

Braywick (often written Bray Wick) and Holyport sit within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The area mixes small clusters of housing, allotments and parcels of farmland. Holyport centres on a village green and a village hall; narrow lanes link the green to local schools, shops and community buildings. Braywick includes a public park and a nature reserve with ponds and reedbeds that follow a tributary of the Thames, and a network of footpaths through woodland and along the stream. Each May the Holyport Green hosts the village May Day celebration, with a May Queen procession that still follows a set route across the green.
