The ward is defined by several key green spaces, including the Moons Moat local nature reserve, which circles the estate. This area incorporates the historical earthworks of a medieval moated site, with walking paths through wooded sections and open grassland. The presence of Arrow Valley Country Park lies just to the south, bordering the ward. Local amenities are focused around a small shopping parade serving the immediate community needs.
