Charlemont

Charlemont sits within the Sandwell borough of the West Midlands conurbation and is identified locally as part of the Charlemont and Grove Vale ward. The area is mainly residential, with a mix of terraced and semi-detached housing, local shops and a handful of primary schools and community centres. Small parks and playing fields are woven into the street pattern, and everyday services are grouped around short parades of shops and civic buildings. Local buses give regular links across Sandwell and to neighbouring parts of the conurbation.
