Charlton Slopes

Charlton Slopes sits in the Royal Borough of Greenwich on the rising ground of Charlton, south-east of the Thames. The area is mainly residential, with a mix of Victorian terraces, interwar semi-detached houses and later infill lining streets that follow the incline. Small shopping parades and independent businesses cluster along Woolwich Road and adjoining streets, while day-to-day services, a few primary schools and community centres are within walking distance. Transport is provided by Charlton railway station on the North Kent line and by frequent bus routes that link to central Greenwich and Woolwich.
