Childwall

Childwall is a residential suburb located in the southeast of Liverpool. The area is characterised by its green spaces and semi-detached housing. It contains several local parks and playing fields, including Childwall Woods. The ward is home to a number of schools and Liverpool Hope University's main campus, giving it a notable student presence alongside established families.

The area is anchored by Childwall Village, which retains a historic feel with its parish church and traditional pub. A distinctive five-armed road junction, known locally as Childwall Fiveways, forms a central traffic point. The layout includes quiet, tree-lined streets and the open land of Childwall Golf Course, contributing to a less densely populated atmosphere compared to central city wards.
