Compton Acres & Lutterell

Compton Acres and Lutterell form a residential area in the borough of Rushcliffe, immediately south of the River Trent and opposite Nottingham city centre. The neighbourhood sits within West Bridgford and is administered by Rushcliffe Borough Council and Nottinghamshire County Council; it also falls inside the Rushcliffe parliamentary constituency. Housing is a mix of interwar and postwar development, with many short crescents and cul-de-sacs and small shopping parades serving day-to-day needs. Local primary schools, community halls and playing fields are spread through the wards, and regular bus services link the area with Nottingham and other parts of the borough.

The two names are used as electoral ward designations for local elections, and residents commonly refer to the area by those ward titles on community notices. Parks and green corridors provide space for weekend sports and dog walking, while local roads give direct access to the A52 and nearby retail streets. Community groups organise neighbourhood clean-ups and seasonal events that take place at the ward community centres.
